Welcome to September! We are very excited about the upcoming months, as this is a busy time for our Wetzel County FRN.

Our next FRN Board meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 13th from Noon to 2:00 PM at the West Virginia Northern Community College New Martinsville Campus. A light lunch will be served.

The following day, Wednesday, September 14th will be the annual United Way Day of Caring. We are very excited to once again be the leader for this great event in our county. We will have three sites this year, possibly four. We will have a team at the New Martinsville Airport to clean, weed and beautify this property. We will have a team at Judy’s Place and a team at the new office of the Wetzel County FRN. We are blessed to share this facility with YWCA Family Violence Prevention and will be cleaning it up with fresh paint as well. We may also have a team at the Salvation Army, but are awaiting confirmation on that.

Please plan to attend the meeting as we have many events forthcoming. Thank you so much for all you do for the children and families in our county!
